A good Tanba school boxwood netsuke of a dragon in a mikan, by Toyoshima. Mid-19th century

Visible in the three large openings of a mandarin, the large head with open mouth and shaggy beard, a long leaf with veins in ukibori hanging from the stalk. The eye of horn. Signed Toyoshima in an oval cartouche.
