The monkey stands dancing on one leg, wearing a sleeveless jacket with a scroll pattern, and holding a hobbyhorse with both hands.
Height 4.8 cm

The motif alludes to the harugoma, a New Year's dance performed on the streets on January 14 using a hobbyhorse as a prop. The monkey possibly belongs to a sarumawashi, who trained his monkey to perform the harugoma.
