A Victorian 18k gold snake collier

The body coiling around the wearer's neck, the naturalistic head decorated with royal blue champlevé enamel and set with seven graduated opals, tiny rose-cut diamonds, and two garnet cabochons for the eyes. Including an older case marked "R & S. Garrard & Co, London". Minimal losses to the enamel, minor damage and repairs. L 40 cm. Weight 49 g.
