A Belle Epoque platinum and opal brooch

Delicate pierced design milligrain set with old-cut and 8/8-cut diamonds. Central old-cut diamond ca. 0.60 ct (J/K, vs), four large old-cut diamonds in total ca. 1.50 ct, the remaining stones in total ca. 0.70 ct. Set with two round opals with lively green, blue, orange, and red opalescence (each ca. 3 ct, diameter ca. 11.5 mm) and two pearls (diameter 4.5 mm). With removable screw-mounted brooch findings. L 5.5 cm. Weight 18.4 g.
