A Sèvres porcelain paperweight "Pomone" by Taxile Doat

Solid porcelain of disc-shaped form with matte and glossy glaze and pâte-sur-pâte appliques on seladon ground. The relief medallion with a bust of the goddess Pomona. Signed TDOAT 1904 Sèvres. With cracks, presumably as a result of production, and minor chips to the underside. H 3.5, D 10.6 cm.
