Comprising coffee pot, milk jug, and sugar bowl. Numbered 5/101. The jug and bowl with model nos. 8381 and 8382. The handles of ebonised wood. H coffee pot 21.5 cm, total weight 1,551 g.
Designed by Ulla and Martin Kaufmann (with artist's signets), produced by Wilkens, Bremen, 1989.

The designer couple Ulla und Martin Kaufmann have been awarded numerous prizes for their work, such as the Bayerisches Staatspreis, the Grassipreis, the state prize of Hessen and multiple Red Dot Design Awards from the Designzentrum North Rhine-Westphalia. Their designs are housed in many public collections, such as the Grassimuseum in Leipzig, the Neue Pinakothek in Munich, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and the Museum of Arts & Design in New York.
