A rare South German "telleruhr" clock in the original case

Walnut veneer case and glazed engraved brass dial with blackened tin numerals. Eight-day movement with freestanding barrel and turning cog, verge escapement and cow's tail pendulum, countwheel with repetition and half-hourly strike on a bell. Engraved with the dates of previous repairs to the plate, unsigned. The finial lacking. H 62, W 39.3 cm.
