A pair of Bavarian carved limewood angels, mid-18th century

Carved in the round, the backs only summarily carved, the seats flattened. The wings visibly attached. With older polychromy. A facing pair of adoring angels, presumably from the corners of a tabernacle or altar.
Minimal losses to the seats. Very minor wear. Height of each 50 cm.
