A large blue and white lotus scroll hu vase. 19th century

With a pear-shaped body and wasted neck, flanked by a pair of archaistic scroll handles, decorated in underglaze-blue with large stylised lotus blossoms between ruyi and lappet bands, around the neck a band of shou character roundels reserved on a trellis ground below a keyfret border. Apocryphal Qianlong six-character seal mark.
