A magnificent Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Vajrasattva. 17th century

Superbly cast, seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with a vajra held to his chest and a ghanta in his lap, dressed in a close fitting dhoti incised with a stripe pattern, richly adorned with a tiara, heavy earrings, strings of jewelled necklaces, armlets and bracelets inset with hard-stones. Base sealed.
