Shakyamuni is surrounded by numerous scenes with figures amidst a green landscape with temples and buildings. Together with the following lot, this thangka belongs to a set illustrating the 108 stories of the avadanakalpalata. Gouache and gold on cloth. Silk mounting. Losses of pigments, creases.
