A five-case inrô. Late 19th century

A five-case inrô with a lobster and a leafy twig on one side and a branch with two chestnuts in their spiky shell and leaves on the other side, all in sabiji relief and takamaki-e on a brown ground. Fine nashiji to the inside. Signed Zeshin in maki-e and seal in relief. Very minor traces of use. Late 19th century.
