A large Belle Epoque platinum and diamond brooch

Designed as a delicately pierced floral garland set with 212 diamonds in various cuts (incl. old-, Peruzzi-, Mazzarin-, and rose-cut, some older stones). The diamonds ca. 5.5 ct in total, the three middle stones each 1 ct. With amendments, originally the centre of a diadem, the brooch fittings later. One diamond lost. 4.5 x 9.7 cm. Weight 38.9 g.
