A silver-mounted ivory tankard

Interior gilt. The foot and hinged lid with embossed baroque flowerheads, the ivory handle uncarved, the corpus carved with a continuous scene of a classical cavalry battle. One crack to the ivory, the warrior's sword lacking. H 32.5 cm.
Indistinct hallmarks, presumably Germany, 19th century.
