A pair of Bengali brass deities. Eastern India. 19th century

Both standing with feet close together, the hands in mudra, wearing necklaces and bracelets at the arms and feet, the eyes of ivory with traces of black and red pigments, the palms with red pigments. Each figure can be inserted into separate bases which do not belong together and probably are of later date. (2)
