A vase-shaped carved brass huqqua base. Lahore. 17th century

Of pear shape with a slender neck, twelve panels to the body with ascending scrolls and flowers, and floral patterns to the neck and mouth. The lacquer inlays almost completely gone, the neck rubbed. Mark to the base.
