A boxwood netsuke of Kiyohime and the bell of Dôjôji. Second half 19th century

Kiyohime has changed into a huge hannya with horns, claw hands and feet and a dragon’s tail, and is shown climbing over the temple bell. The eye pupils of light brown glass.
