A good Gifu school wood netsuke of a goat, by Yukikazu. Mid-19th century

Recumbent with legs neatly folded beneath, the head with two curved horns turned back, the long beard spread out onto the haunch, the fur with fine hairline engraving. The eye pupils of light and black horn. Signed Yukikazu in an oval reserve.
