A good large ivory netsuke of a snarling tiger. Early 19th century

Sitting on its haunches with paws placed wide apart, the head turned to the right and the long thin tail placed over the back, the fur with thin curved stripes reserved from the fine hair engraving. The eye pupils of brown horn.
