An ormolu pendulum clock with Diana

Cast and fire-gilt bronze, white enamel dial with black Roman hours and Arabic minutes. Iron hands. Large 14-day pendulum movement, thread suspension and half-hourly striking to a bell. Stepped base with central round case. The goddess Diana depicted with a bow holding a gamebird in her hand, a hunting dog at her side. The base with a frieze of deer. The dial cracked, wear to the gilding. H 45, W 32 cm.
1st quarter 19th C., using an bronze from the time of the Ancien Regime, Louis XVI period.
