An 18k white gold pendant brooch with a very fine emerald

Stylised rhombus motif with a square step-cut Colombian emerald of 8.097 ct (11.95 x 11.87 x 7.71 mm, very fine quality, purity, and colour) and 46 brilliant-cut diamonds in total ca. 4.79 ct (G/H vvs-vs). The largest diamond ca. 0.54 ct (G/H, vvs-vs). With hinged hanging loop and 14k gold brooch mountings with safety clasp. Hallmarks: Fineness 750/585, maker's mark "SC". 3.8 x 2.8 cm. Weight 19.2 g.

Certificate

Gemstone assay report from 19.2.1992 AP/ra of the Gemmological Laboratory Gübelin, Lucerne confirmed the stone to be a natural beryl, variety emerald, origin Colombia.
