A large silver table mirror made for the Earls of Erne

Cartouche form relief frame with rich scrollwork and rocaille decor, the feet and finial formed as coiled snakes. Engraved to the front and reverse with the coat-of-arms of John Chrichton, Earl Erne, Baron Fernmanagh (1802 - 85) with an Earl's Crown and the device "GOD SEND GRACE". H 66.5; W 52 cm.
Attributed to Ireland, unidentified "M" mark, 19th C.
