Of cylindrical form with scroll handles and original saucer. Finely painted with a scene of a classical couple seeking shelter from a storm in a grotto. The rims of cup and saucer with a pattern of quivers and bows. Blue "bindenschild" mark, year stamp 823 (to the saucer), 137. in gold, incised marks.
