The Serpentenara was a small holly oak forest above Olevano which was frequently painted by the German Romantics in the early 19th century.
With a dedication to the reverse: Fräulein Spinde. Zur Erinnerung. Karl Hagemeister.
In good condition with a smoothed diagonal crease. Unframed.
