A 15th century North Italian carved wooden relief of the Virgin and Child

The reverse flattened. With extensively overpainted older polychromy. A high-relief half figure depiction of the Virgin Mary supporting the nude Christ Child standing on a balustrade at Her side.
Wear with minor losses. Mounted in a later associated wooden frame. 38 x 24.5 cm (frame 54 x 41 x 9 cm).
