Plaster relief, painted by the artist with linseed tempera, on wood 30 x 41.2 cm (43 x 54 cm) Framed. Monogrammed and dated 'EV 30' in cast lower right and signed and inscribed 'EBERHARD VIEGENER SOEST' in grey brush verso. - In the lower right half with imperceptible hairline crack.

Certificate

With a confirmation by Florian Viegener, the artist's son, Ense, dated 2 May 2019, that the cut and colouring of the work were by the artist's own hand.
