A Tokyo school ivory netsuke of Daikoku. Late 19th century

Seated with legs crossed in a winnowing sieve and grabbing the rim with both hands, various inlays of mother-of-pearl, red lacquer and wood, the ivory partly stained green and brown. Signed Yasuaki (Hômei) and red seal Kodama.
