Decorated in maki-e, red and black lacquer and inlays of mother-of-pearl with a scene from the nô drama "Ishibashi" with two dancers wearing big red wigs amidst peonies flowers. Black lacquered wooden base plate. Inside a copper foil inset. Minor damage.
