A silver medallion commemorating the Peace of Hubertusburg

Silver. Hollow medallion with portraits of Francis I, Maria Theresia, Frederick August III and Frederick II to the front and a depiction of a seated genius inscribed "SAECULUM FRIDERICI" and dated MDCCLVIIII to the back. The medal screws open to reveal seven polychrome depictions on the subject of war and peace and seven texts. The lid signed "I.THIEBAUD FEC." and "I.M.MÖRIKOFER F." Presumably incomplete, some of the engravings slightly faded, otherwise in good condition. The embossed lids are signed "I.THIEBAUD FEC." and "I.M.MÖRIKOFER F." Probably not quite complete; the engravings partly unfresh, otherwise in good condition. Diameter 5 cm, weight when empty 20 g.
The medallion Bern, marks of Johann Melchior Mörikofer, 1759 and Augsburg, Jonas Thiebaud, around 1763; sold by Jakob Langenbucher, Augsburg.
