Blade length: 37.8 cm, hira zukuri, itame-nagare hada, gunome-midare hamon in nie- and nioi-deki, ara-nie in the bôshi, ashi, horimono: bo-hi ni tsure-hi to both sides. Good state of polish. Nakago: ubu in saki kurijiri, one mekugi-ana, signed: Kanetomo. Shirasaya with sayagaki: nôshû (no) kuni kanetomo tenbun goro, together with length and unidentified signature. Koshirae with tsunagi: iron moko-gata tsuba, shakudô, gilt menuki in the shape of landscapes. Brown leather binding over same. Saya: lacquered back, with kozuka, decorated with rain dragons. 19th century.
