An 18k gold water melon tourmaline necklace

Hand forged necklace formed from ornamentally twisted gold wires suspending 15 graduated polygonal watermelon tourmaline discs (c. 10.05 x 9.4 mm - c. 18.1 x 17.9 mm) in gold settings alternating with 14 drilled pearls (diameter 3.8 - 4.0 mm, not tested but described as Oriental pearls in the catalogue). Hallmarks: Fineness 750, maker's mark "ET". L 37 cm. Weight 87.14 g.
Elisabeth Treskow, Cologne, 1968 - 70.

According to the catalogue, Elisabeth Treskow only produced three of these necklaces with tourmaline discs.
