A faience pitcher decorated by Abraham Helmhack

Decorated with a depiction of Rebecca and Eliezer en camaieu. The neck with a winged angel's head with a halo. The sides each with flowering acanthus tendrils. Monogrammed AH below the cartouche. Unmarked unglazed base. The lip restored. H 28.7 cm.
The faience Hanau, after 1661, decor by Abraham Helmhack, Nuremberg, c. 1690 - 1700.
