Attributed to Emile Muller et Compagnie, c. 1880 - 1900.

Emile Muller (Old Church 1823 - 1889 Nice) founded the "Grande Tuilerie" in the port of Ivry-sur-Seine in 1854, where he produced and sold ceramic construction ornaments. His architectural ornament designs won prizes at the world fairs in Amsterdam (1883), Anvers (1885) and Chicago (1893). For the 1889 World Fair, Émile Müller built the stoneware balustrades for the Eiffel Tower. After his death, his son Louis took over the management of the "Grande Tuilerie" under the name "Émile Müller et Compagnie". The company became the largest factory of ceramic products for buildings with between 300 and 400 employees. For the 1900 World Fair, the company produced roof ornaments and friezes for the domes of the Grand and Petit Palais in Paris.
