A 17th century South German carved ivory relief of Christ mocked

Deeply carved high-relief depiction. The chamferred edge of the stone wall in the background indicates that the piece was originally housed in a frame.
The left hand of the second henchman from the right lost. Mounted on a velvet covered panel. 7 x 12.5 cm.
