Rounded rectangular box made from translucent polished chalcedony mounted in 14k gold with a laurel foliage design set with a ruby and a sapphire cabochon on the push button. Hallmarks: St. Petersburg assay mark used 1896 – 1903 for 56 zolotnik with the initials of the inspector Jakow Ljapunow, “Faberge” in Cyrillic, maker's mark of Michael E. Perchin, 1860 - 1903 (Habsburg, Fabergé, 1979, mark 29). 2 x 8.8 x 5.6 cm. Weight 111.7 g.
