A Sèvres porcelain dish on stand with an opulent frieze

"Écuelle ronde tournée" model in the third size with a domed lid and branch finial on a "plateau ovale" stand in the second size. Richly decorated with trelliswork and laurel reserves. Conjoined double-L mark around the year letter L, various incised marks, blue enamel +. Minor wear to the gilding. H of tureen with lid 11.9, D 13.2, W of plate 22.5 cm.
1764, decor attributed to Philippe Xhrouet.
