A pair of huanghuali wood square-corner cabinets. 19th/20th century

On four square-section legs, at the front with a lobed apron carved with scrolls bearing tiny leaves, at the sides a plain lobed apron, inside a shelf board and two drawers, the doors with slightly raised panels with indented corners, the doors of the upper section with keyfret in open latticework, brass lock plates with small ornamental pulls and metal hinges.
