A Berlin KPM porcelain Bacchus group

Model no. 292. Depicting Bacchus with his glass raised and a maenad with a tambourine and two wrestling panthers at his feet. Blue sceptre mark, incised "C.M.". With a retouched crack to the right thigh of the maenad, her foot and the pather's head restored. H 20.5 cm.
Model by Johannes Eckstein, 1775/76.
