A German 18k gold sapphire, tsavorite and diamond Art Nouveau snake pendant with a large baroque Oriental pearl.

Smooth baroque form blister pearl (c. 21.0 x 14.5 x 8.0 mm) entwined by a snake, the body of which set with 93 round, faceted sapphires (in total c.1.86 ct), the head with two tiny emeralds, two pear-form sapphires, a faceted tsavorite and two tiny rose-cut diamonds for the eyes. The underside engraved with lizard skin pattern. The engraved 14k gold bail and chain with elongated martelé links associated. Total H pendant 6 cm, weight 22.14 g. Chain L 45 cm, weight 10.42 g. Original case markedi "J. Godet & Sohn Hofjuweliere Berlin W.".
