An Iranian mortar with floral reliefs

Cast bronze with brown patina and verdigris, wrought iron. Faceted mortar with protruding base and rim and two ring shaped handles, one of bronze and one of wrought iron. With minor cracks. H 11.7, D 22.2 cm, weight c. 8.9 kg.
Iran, 12th - 13th C.
