Scalloped interior gilt oval box, the slightly domed lid emblazoned with a polychrome enamel plaque depicting Achilles among the daughters of Lykomedes. H 3.3; W 7.8; D 6.5 cm, weight 91 g.
Gotha, marks of Johann Christoph Rueger, late 18th C. The plaque presumably Augsburg.
