A rare Ludwigsburg porcelain dish

With Chinoiserie decor, partially gilded over black and grisaille in imitation of Meissen's purple lustre. Crowned blue double-C monogram, impressed "g2" to the basal ring. The blue enamel slightly bubbled, minimal losses in the violet and in the gold contours. The basal ring drilled for a wire eyelet for suspension. H 5.2, D 24.6 cm.
