Three pairs of gilt and green painted bronze wall lights with enamel flowers

With polychrome enamel on copper. Two-flame wall lights designed as twisted flowering branches, the drip pans and nozzles painted with floral garlands and strapwork. Minor restorations to the enamel, wired for electricity. H back panel c. 22 cm.
Vienna, mid-18th C.

Identical appliques can be found in the Chinese Room in Schönbrunn Palace, the furnishing of which was begun in 1747.
