A Silesian cut glass goblet and cover

The tapering cup with gilt rim decorated with a finely cut depiction of an elegant couple eating a meal in a park and a small park landscape flanked by two palmettes on the reverse. The corresponding faceted lid with a pine cone finial, decorated with tendrils and another small landscape. Small chips to the foot rim. H 23.6 cm.
Schreiberhau / Szklarska Poreba, mid-18th C., decor attributed to Christian Gottfried or Samuel Schneider.
