A pair of Berlin KPM porcelain vases with amoretti

Model no. 1108, fired in two parts and screw-mounted. Decorated on either side with cherubs flying amid clouds, joined together by a purple and yellow ribbon. The neck and base painted to imitate lapis lazuli. The handles with Classical swags on apricot coloured ground. Blue sceptre mark with blue enamel dash above, one incised 4, II and 34. H 33 cm.
Around 1800.
