A large Copenhagen silver centrepiece

Designed as a thick, round earth mound base of silver wire with finely chased grapes and fruit surrounding a mirror in the centre, on tripod silver wire tendril supports. The jardinière with a corresponding base adorned with a figure of a stag on one side and a pair of swans on a small pond to the other. The tall shaft entwined by naturalistic calla flowers and tulips leading up to a large flower shaped dish above. Total height with base c. 70 cm. Diameter of plinth without feet c. 40 cm. Weight of centrepiece incl. metal brace at the base 3,475 g.
