The lid carved with peony blossoms amidst foliage, the rim of the lid and lower part with a continuous meander border. Black lacquer to the inside, brown lacquer to the underside. Over a metal core. Restoration to two corners. Possibly Japan.
Height 2.2 cm; width 5.9 cm; depth 4.1 cm
