A huanghuali wood desk. Qing dynasty

Desk with the same number of drawers front and back, so that it can be used free standing by two people. The top in one long single piece with a total of eight drawers with locks and moveable handles, resting on two commode-like bases, each with four drawers and a shelf with openwork keyfret.
Height 85 cm; width 140.2 cm; depth 65.5 cm
