A small blue and white bowl, Shunzhi period, around 1650

Shallow bowl with flaring lip. Inside a scene from a novel in underglaze-blue. On the outer wall floral decoration in anhua. Six-character base mark "Qi shi bao ding zhi zhen" ('Precious as a treasured ding of rare jade') in a double-ring. Short hairline crack.
