A double yokonagaban

Double yokonagaban, surimono/invitation. Collaboration. Beauties from Ôsaka, Edo and Kyôto: Two courtesans in splendid garments and an oharame with fulling blocks. Poems by Santô Kyôzan, 71 year-old Tachikawa Danshûrô and Jippensha Ikku. On the lower half the names of the participants in an Utamaro festival. Signed from right to left: Baigadô Utamaro ga (seals uta and maro), ôju Gototei Kunisada ga (toshidama seal) and Bokutei Tsukimaro zu (seal Toba?). 1813. Very rare. Very good impression, colours minimally faded, gold, silver, gold oxidized, paper rubbed, creased and soiled, five vertical folds, fair condition, nevertheless attractive.
